pups growing up

Posted by frionariz at 04:11 AM on August 02, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Hi,

Well Both Bella's and Amy's pups are doing fine, really growing, eyes are open and they are up on their feet, and found a voice  roll

Bella's babies are now into food in a big way, and love their mince chicken and beef, not to keen on their milky meal i think they would still rather go to mum for that.   Bella as usual is an excellent mummy,  I hope she makes the most of her babies as she is going in to be spayed in a few short weeks time, so no more babies for her.

Amy well for a first time Mummy she is doing great, she still wont be far away from the pups, and if they squeek she is straight there,, they too have started weaning, but only just and and dont have the madness of diving in like bella's babies but anoher few days and all that will change im sure.

Busy week

Wow what a busy week we have had, Both Bella and Amy have had their babies.

First bella on the 12th 5 boys 2 girls, and then Amy last night  5 girls and 3 boys opposite to Bella + 1 lol.

Both the Mums and babies doing well, Bella has had pups before and is an excelent mummy, all pups putting on wieght and warm and content.

Amy is a first time Mummy, But a good girl, she done it all on her own, Creid when the first was born she didnt know what it was, But then very quitley and very relaxed got on with having the rest. the only think for me to do was to give them a quick rub and check over and quickly put them back with mum. Good Girl Amy im so proud of you xxxxxx

GOOD NEWS

Posted by frionariz at 03:13 AM on April 30, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Well this week we had some very good news , our Vet phoned to say the hip results are back for two of or girls Peril and Lollipop,

Peril has a score of 3-5  UK  and FCI  A-A   and Lollipop  has a score of 5-3 UK and FCI  A-A so we are very pleased. both girls have also been tested, with a patella score of 0-0  eyes tested clear, and Heart tested clear these girls can now be considered to join in our breeding program, for next year, after suitible males can be found to compliment them.

Lolli has a temperament  to die for, she is such a gentle loving bitch, quite natured, watchful, a little stand offish with strangers but soon comes round and goes for a cuddle, she loves children, and would play all day if thats what they wanted to do, or is happy to curl up with my grandsons and watch while the play on their xbox , she like tv as well and can usually been found with someone cuddling her, she is just that sort of girl  lol

Peril on the other hand is very bouncy could Jump for the Olympics loves to play any game that involves jumping, she greets everyone as if they are a long lost freind, but doesnt like to be touched by people if they are stood up, i dont think she like people bending over her, but as soon as they sit down she is likly to be on their knee,  she also loves children and she is infact my grandsons dog, (so he says lol)  where you find him you will find Peril, she knows what time he comes in from school and is at the window waiting for him, and the greeting he gets is as if he has been away for weeks,, ... so sweet !!

Thugalot has to go for his hips score in a few weeks time so fingers crossed they come back so good,    He is turning into a stunning boy, a little weiry of strangers but doesnt stop him saying hi to people, as soon as he realises they are okay, he to likes to try and get on there knee, or will roll over for a belly rub.

Eysha is growing well 4 1/2 months old now where does time go,   to Eysha everyone is a freind, the job i have with her right now is to stop her jumping up at everyone to greet them. she just lovvvvvvvvvves  everyone.  she must get that from her mummy  Kore, she was just the same.

Well thats about all for the updates for now untill next time..............................

It's Been a while

Hello

Its been a while since i wrote in my blogg, a lot has happened.

Kore's pup has been keeping me busy, she is growing so fast now and is a right little madam, getting more like her mum every day.

As you will see we lost out lovely Kore when Eysha was only 8 weeks old  so Eysha has had to learn from her great auntie Bella what place she has in our dog pack, Bella is our Alfa bitch, but loves Eysha as much as she did her mother i think. Bella and Kore were soul mates, so its good for Bella to have Eysha to look after, it seems to have given her a new meaning to life they never seem to stop playing.  funny really as Bella never realy wanted to play that much with her own pups.

A bitch that i had bred went missing from her home, all very worrying, but im glad to say she is back now safe and well after being missing for about 3 weeks, we think someone must have taken her in as she has been well looked after. she was found in a park playing with other dogs, and was taken to a rescue kennel, where they scanned her and contacted me as she was Micro chipped, I micro chip all my puppies before they go to their new homes , thank goodness or she may have been lost for ever.

Ava is back here with me now as her owners felt to worried about her getting out again, she was please to see everyone, and nearly pulled Bills arms of when he took her out the car to get to the front door. when she came in it was lots of noise and excitment and straight up on my knee for a cuddle, i think she is glad to be home......... time will tell.   Ava and Viatka just do not like each other so lots of work to do there, to avoid any conflicts,  This was the main reason we rehomed Ava in the first place,  lets just hope that a break away from each other they will get on better..............

Kore & Burt's Puppies have arrived

Posted by frionariz at 03:27 AM on December 10, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Kore gave birth to 5 sweet little babies on the 8th Dec 08  and what a day that was.

She had me awake all the night before with her pacing and at about 9am her waters broke, so i though great puppies any time now, she was digging up all her bed and doing all the right things to sugggest labour was in full swing, then at about 11-30 she just laid down and went to sleep, thats ok they do that sometimes have a rest before the big push,  but 2 hours later i was getting concerned as she hadnt seemed to progress any further, but then up she got again and dig dig dig tearing her bed up, and once again i thouht puppies any min now??????Well after about an hour of digging .....yes she went back to sleep, she was not stressed (that was just me) she was even playing with a teddy bear during all this scratching up and had eaten her dinner, she seemed quite happy, but i knew something wasnt going to plan, this was to long and not contraction. so phoned the vet  for about the forth time that day (thank goodness i have a lovely vet who knows i panick over Kore for the slightest thing, she is my baby)

Well they said ok too long now bring her straight over, so we did.

Kore was quite stressed by the thought of going into the vet something that have never bothered her before, she started crying and shaking very badly, so the vet saw her straight away no waiting,  Kore did not want the vet to touch her, something else she has never bothered with before she usually loves the vet. so with me holding her tightly the vet examined her couldnt find a puppy at all, all ver strange, so they scanned her and said yes there is a puppy or two, but appered to have died the only way to move then was to give her an injection to start her contraction, but after ten/ 15 mins she was crying so bad the said no choise she would need a C section to deliver her babies, so away we went home and waited for the call to go and get her, took about an hour and a half, the vet phoned said she was fine come and get her.....................................

when i got there i got a bigger shock when he said didnt i bring a box for the puppies??????????   Box !!! puppies!!!!!!!!!  i said what puppies they were dead,  he said yes but the 5 live ones she had hidden tucked up safe were screaming for their mummy and needed to go home with her. Wow what a shock on her first scan only two were detected only two heart beats were ever heard, Yet a total of 6 pups were there all the time.

These Eurasier never fail to amaze me, how could she hide 5 babies lol,  anyway 3 girls and two boy all in good voice i may add are all safe and well, cuddled up with mum, from the moment we got them home,    We were very lucky there some bitches wont have there pups after  CS it can take hours , days or not at all. but Kore just wanted her babies ans she loves them. I knew she would, thats my girl !!!!!!!!!

Summer come and gone

Posted by frionariz at 12:02 PM on October 13, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Well Summer has been and gone, don't know when it was as we seem to have had nothing but rain, dogs always seem wet, not that they mind that as if it was hot they would have been in their pool anyway.

Viatka's pups are growing well and all seem to have turned out very much as i expected, although it would be nice to see more photos of them as they grow. Chezney is a big boy full of himself, and i dont think he ever has 4 feet on the floor at any one time, he even sleeps upside down , lol    Lollipop on the other hand is a sweet natured loving little girl, like nothing better than to snuggle up with me, very much like her daddy Burt,

Bellas Babies well what can i say they are growing like weeds, we have run on two boys as they are so much alike (terrible twins, and i know all about them having twin 13 year old grandson that live with me, aghhhhhh)  the Boys! are Arther and Thugalot again Identical to look at but so different in there ways, abit like the human twins,   Arther is Bills boy, he sticks to him like super glue, and never listens to a word i say, just gives me that look!!! Thugalot on the other hand is very much like Lollipop, but he hangs on my every word, all he wants to do is please people, when people come to the house he shows no reservedness  he just goes up and greets them while Arther, runs to Bill. silly boy!!

Needless to say who will be showing who in the show ring lol,    we have had Lollipop, Chezney, Arther, and Thugalot, all go for the pet passport and im happy to say they have all got clear test results and next year can come with us on our trips abroard. should be fun a Motorhome with 4 dogs in it lol ( i baggsy the top bunk , Lol!!!!

At last i have made the hard choice to breed Kore, she is 4 1/2 years old now and never had a litter yet, she has never seem grown up enough, she is so full of fun and love, didnt seem right to breed her when all she wanted was to have fun. But with Bella having had her litter Kore could not stay away from them and had to share them with bella, so i guess the time is right for her to be a mummy herself, she has been mated to Burt and fingers and everything else crossed for some very special puppies to be born just before Christmas, I cant wait a puppy from the nicess bitch i have ever met, and a loveing gentle dog like Burt, should be  fun loving good looking babies, I just hope she has one just like herself, if she does she can love her forever cos it will stay here.

growing fast

Posted by frionariz at 05:37 AM on June 01, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Bella babies are growing fast, today most of them have their eyes open, and had their first taste of redibrek and milk, this is quite a big litter of pups so bella needs a tiny bit of help filling all them fat tummies, some were very keen to eat solids others just wanted mum. thats ok at least the hungry ones have now got full tums, all is quite in the nest, so it must have helped.. Bella like to lay on the outside of the Box now, only going into her babies when she needs to. she is never far away, and is a good mum, just not an over pretective one like Viatak was where i had a job to get near the pups to check them,  Bella watches me but pups can be handled so much easier and more often.

Another week and the fun will start they will all have their eyes open then and would have found their feet, so will tell you all about it then......................................

Busy Time

Well Viatkas babies have all gone to their new homes, and all settling in really well, that is except for Chezney and Lollipop that have stayed here with us at Frionariz.

Chezney is the double of his daddy, and just as cheeky, it is lovely to watch father and son play together, Burt is teaching him, maybe not a good idea, Burt can be quite a naughty boy not bad just naughty lol, and Chezney is  the same.

Lollipop look very much like my beloved departed Astra, and in a lot of ways is the same as her, she is loveing and cuddly, and listens to every word i say to her, she like Astra like to lay by my feet to make sure im not to far away, and when i move she moves, it is so sweet but sad as well as Astra used to do just the same thing, I have said to Bill my Astra has come back to me, Now i Know how wrong it is to say such things as you can never replace a dog that has died, but this little girl, in looks and actions up to now is the very same, and already I love her as much, from the moment she was born, Both Bill and myself knew she was special.  She might never make a show Bitch, She might never Be a mum, but she will always be loved.

Well the puppy nest wasnt empty for long as Bella my lovely Black girl has had 9 pups they will be a week old tomorrow, Willow is the dad, and most of the pups are willow coloured, I have placed new born puppy pics in the photo gallery,

This is quite a change for me as i dont normally have two litter so close together, But this is Bellas second and last litter at the age of 5 1/2 she will now be spayed after she has finnished with her mothering duties and live here with us for the rest of her life, with out having to be watched for her crafty seasons  lol.   I will add new puppy photos as they grow , just keep an eye on the albums.

growing fast

Well pups are now 3 weeks old and growing fast,

It is so lovely to waste time just watching them start to play, biteing each others noses, and tails, trying to run and not quite making it, falling over and rolling on their backs, all with what i can only say is a smile on their little faces.

All the pups love their food, and love swimming in it more than eating it i think, this is the only stage of puppy rearing i dislike, Yucky puppies,  but it does only last about a week untill they learn not to stand or lay in the food, its much better to eat it,

Vitaka is a really good Mum, never far away from her babies, rushes to them if they cry, and like me spends ages just watching them play, I think in another couple of weeks time Viatka will be happily playing with them,

I hope for better weather as our garden was recently flooded so not a lot of grass left in it, not ideal for puppies to play on, so for now they will have to be confind to the puppy play area in the house, or on the patio outside, such a shame as pups love to run on grass.

They have arrived

On the 17/03/08 Viatka had 7 lovely babies

I wish i could say all went to plan! but it didn't she had to have an Emergency C section, She started of her labour at about 10-30pm on Sunday 16th, She was nest making and puffing and panting and looked to us as if all was well, we know that this stage of labour can go on for about 12 hours even more so wasn't worried and just stayed with her, talking to her letting her know we were there.

well this went on all night very heavy panting as if she was about to give birth, but she didnt seem to progress past this stage, 12 noon on the 17th i was getting worried she did not seem in any way to be any further on, just fast heavy puffing and panting, and now the trembles had started, Ok i thought this is normal she is well on her way, but then suddenly she started to look very wobbly swaying from side to side so i straight away phoned the vet, while on the phone Viatka passed out, i now know it was because she had hyper ventilated, so it was straight to the vet, he checked her over and said yes real labour but pups still a long way up, and he didnt want her getting stressed or over tired so a C section was the only way to go.

It was the longest two hours i think i have ever spent.

the phone rang and the vet told me she was fine all went well and she has 7 very noisy pups, said they are screaming the surgery down, so their lungs are good. Phewwwwwwwwww what a relief, we went over about two hours later to collect the new family and bring them home, Viatka although a bit wobbley came out with tail wagging to greet us.

I asked the vet what caused the problem??????? he said there was no medical reason for her to get like she did, if we had left her she would have delivered normally, but she must have got the first pain and PANICKED said she is a Drama Queen, but it was much better to be safe than sorry, the fact that she (fainted) was enough to do the C section,.

Viatka didn't want to know her pups for the first 36 hours as she was still dopey from the opp. but now Mum and pups are all snuggled together one big happy family.

A Mothers Love
